Picnic Table

I made this picnic table today! It is made of cardboard and little pieces of wood from our renovation. At first, I was going to make it out of all wood, but I am not good at sawing things.  There was a little paint incident partway through. It involved me painting on the floor and a cat that decided to come and say hi. :)

Tribute to Gibby

Gibby is gone. I'm not going to say much because I don't want to cry again. He had been suffering for a long time, he was six pounds underweight and his hair was thinning. By the grace of God, his pain has ended. He walked in front of the car this morning. He had been happier for the last few weeks. I feel okay now.
I make up a lot of songs for my kitties. Here is one that I used to sing for Gib.

Mr. Gib, you are so small. You have no fat at all, and I want to believe, that you can, gain some weight. Oh, Gibby...

I like making songs for them! Anyway here are some pictures:

Animal Things

When we first bought our house we did a lot of renovations because it is about 90 years old. We are doing more now. There is a lot of banging and noise, and that is kind of hard for me because I'm homeschooled and I'm home a lot. Me and my Mom are going to get out of the house later.
Gracie and Gibby don't like the noise. Last night me and my sister decided to look for Gracie and see how she was. We looked all over the house, the yard, and down the street. After we didn't find her, we were kind of freaking out. Then we were sitting on my bed and I was singing in my baby voice (that's how I usually talk to cats) asking her to come back. Just then, Gracie walked out from under my bed! We got really excited.
Gracie is under my bed again along with a lot of stuff I don't really use now. :)

Later:

Last night I found a bunny! I suddenly froze and whispered, "It's a bunny!"

Things Today

It is so nice here right now! It feels like summer. Gracie was on my bed from 7:30 am to 6:45 this evening. I'm not kidding. She's never left! I did my Math in the garden this morning.

I had to go to the doctor today. The waiting is the worst part for me. It seemed like hours waiting in the front room. I looked around the room wondering why everyone else was sitting here. I couldn't keep my hands still. Finally, someone came and said my name. I quickly glanced over at my Dad and he motioned for me to stand up. We got up and were led down a seemingly long hallway. We went into a room and sat in the chairs there. My Dad tried to reassure me, but I couldn't seem to keep my heart from going crazy. Time was crawling. To make it worse, the clock had a loud tick and then a tick you can't even hear. That made it seem even slower. Suddenly, the door opened and my heart jumped. Then everything went fast. We only went to pick something up, anyway.

This evening was good. It was soooo summery! I was out on the grass crocheting. And now it's time for me to settle down and then get ready for bed. Good night!
