Baby Monster

I just finished crocheting this baby monster! I got the pattern in my 2013 Crochet Calendar. I took less than three days. I think it's so cute!

The red one was made by my Mom and the one on the right I made. It isn't as good because I made it when I was more of a beginner. I found this one a lot easier!

Cats and Odysseys

Okay, first of all, you need to know that the school that my brother and sister go to is changing to another building somewhere else. They are getting rid of a lot of old stuff. My brother found some AIO's. They are tapes in a case that looks like it's for a VHS tape. Out of the six that should be in there, there are only four, and one is kind of wrecked, but that's okay. It took me a little bit to figure out how the tape thingy on my radio works, but I did after a while. I've listened to all of them. :)

     And now.... For cats!

Gibby and Gracie nap time

This was really funny! I was writing in my journal and Gibby jumped up and laid on it. Then he had a nap. :)

What's Happening Today

I am hoping to get a new Adventures in Odyssey album soon. I was at the Odyssey Scoop website timeline listening to previews for episodes, and I listened to the one for A Thankstaking Story (Album 52). Now I can't get that "Good News" song out of my head! I keep unconsciously murmuring, "Good news, good news, good news good news."
I worked on the knitted cat. It's getting bigger! I made a Ravelry account, so if you want to be my friend, I am gracieiscute.

Knitted Cat

I started knitting a really easy cat stuffy. All you do is knit a long rectangle, sew the sides, stuff it, sew up the top, tie a bow at the neck to make the head, then sew or glue on the eyes, nose and mouth if you want one. Also make tail. Oh. That makes to sound really long. But it's really easy.

Here is what I've done to far:

Kitties

Gracie is so adorable! I've been reading a lot about cats lately, and I have tried to see what mood she is in by reading her eyes. She usually just looks bored, but sometimes when she wants something she will stare into your eyes. It is so cute!
Here are some pictures of Gracie and Gibby:

Trip to the Beach

Today me and my Mom went to the beach, It's the time that all of the fishermen go out in their boats and fish for herring. There are birds, seals, and sea lions everywhere. I took some pictures, but it was hard to get pictures of the seals because they were moving around a lot.

These are boats

Seals and sea lions with their flippers up

The picture is kind of blurry, but the heron has a fish in its mouth

Another picture with a heron and a fish

This seagull has a fish! I think it looks like a moustache.

It was really cold and windy, but it was worth going!

New Fabric

Today I got some new fabric for a dress I want to make. I really like it! Of course, when it was waiting to go downstairs to be washed, Gibby decided he would have a nap- on the fabric! :)
