Tribute to Gibby

Gibby is gone. I'm not going to say much because I don't want to cry again. He had been suffering for a long time, he was six pounds underweight and his hair was thinning. By the grace of God, his pain has ended. He walked in front of the car this morning. He had been happier for the last few weeks. I feel okay now.
I make up a lot of songs for my kitties. Here is one that I used to sing for Gib.

Mr. Gib, you are so small. You have no fat at all, and I want to believe, that you can, gain some weight. Oh, Gibby...

I like making songs for them! Anyway here are some pictures:

Gracie in a Bin

Gracie is being so adorable right now!

Easter Cat Bed

I don't really celebrate the common Easter... Somehow all modern holidays come back to gifts of candy. But anyway, I made this cat bed yesterday! The colours are very nice. The picture kind of makes it look weird, though.

Gracie Drinks from Cup

Gracie was being so cute! First she tried to drink from a cup, then she started to put her paw in the cup and lick her paw. I managed to take a short movie! Adventures in Odyssey is in the background and so are me and my sisters giggles.

Meet My Kitties

Meet Gracie:

Question: How old are you?
Answer: 12 or 13ish
Q.When were you adopted?
A. I was adopted on December 27 after the other cat died on Christmas Eve.
Q. What do you like doing?
A. Oh, lots of things. I sleep, lick myself, steal Gibby's wet food, lick Gibby's head, eat, barf on the carpet, flop on Hannah's floor, and have my head rubbed.
Q. How much do you weigh?
A. Well... I should be about 8 pounds but I am 13 1/2 instead.
Q. What do you dislike?
A. I don't like playing. I am too fat. Well, I don't like playing with other cats but I like playing with yarn and string. I chew on it.
Q. What do you look like?
A. I have blond fur on most of my body, and I have white fur on my nose, chest, stomach, and paws. I have a very bushy tail. My fur is very thick. My eyes are light green.
Q. Tell me about your name.
A. Well, at the SPCA my name was Eden, but Hannah thought of the name Gracie for me. I am also sometimes called Gracie May. Hannah often calls me names that I don't like. Examples: Big big, Girla, Chub.
Thank you so much for coming to this interview!

Meet Gibby:

Question: How old are you?
Answer: I am very old. Probably around 15.
Q. When were you adopted?
A. I was adopted in January a year or two before Gracie. My friend was Isaac. He was very young, and he died from eating that stuff that looks like snow but is actually stuff for melting snow. It was sad.
Q.What do you like doing?
A. I like staying in the kitchen and begging for food all day. I like sleeping, walking on the table, eating food that I'm not supposed to eat, finding boxes and corners to go in, and getting in the way.
Q. How much do you weigh?
A. I used to be 15 pounds, but I have gotten very old. I am... 9 pounds. I don't know why! (cries)
Q. What do you dislike?
A. There are some kinds of wet food I don't like, not getting fed, rainy days, etc.
Q. What do you look like?
A. I have all kinds of orange fur. My fur is thin because I pull it out and eat it. I am literally all skin and bones. Well, almost. I just have no fat. My eyes aren't good because I got in fights when I was homeless. My eyes are green and brown. I am big and tall.
Q. Tell me about your name.
A. At the SPCA my name was Gibby still. My names are Gibson and Gib. Hannah sometimes calls me Gyubber Gyubson.
Thank you for coming to this interview!

Gracie's Cat Bed

I finished Gracie's Cat Bed. It's a lot bigger than Gibby's. I know that she really loves boxes so I made the sides curl up. When I went to show my Mom, this is what I saw:

     Gibby is so funny!

Gibby!

Gibby went on the Cat Bed! Yay!

It was in the sun so the pictures are kind of bright.... Oh, well!

Cat Bed

Do you have a lot of little bits of yarn? Do you love crocheting with big hooks? Do your cats need somewhere to lay down that isn't on the hard floor? Then you can make a Cat Bed! These are so easy to make and look great!
Okay, I don't really know why I did that part. But anyway, I made this yesterday! I used a 6.5 mm hook and some really thick yarn as my main colour. I love thick yarn! I also used a bunch of other little balls of yarn and doubled them up. I love the colours and I think it looks great! I don't have any pictures with cats because I only put it out last night. So here it is!

Cats and Odysseys

Okay, first of all, you need to know that the school that my brother and sister go to is changing to another building somewhere else. They are getting rid of a lot of old stuff. My brother found some AIO's. They are tapes in a case that looks like it's for a VHS tape. Out of the six that should be in there, there are only four, and one is kind of wrecked, but that's okay. It took me a little bit to figure out how the tape thingy on my radio works, but I did after a while. I've listened to all of them. :)

     And now.... For cats!

Gracie and Gibby love laying in the sun

Gibby and Gracie nap time

This was really funny! I was writing in my journal and Gibby jumped up and laid on it. Then he had a nap. :)

Kitties

Gracie is so adorable! I've been reading a lot about cats lately, and I have tried to see what mood she is in by reading her eyes. She usually just looks bored, but sometimes when she wants something she will stare into your eyes. It is so cute!
Here are some pictures of Gracie and Gibby:
